Cooking Lesson
It was on Saturday, April 11th in 2009, some of our students were going to learn how to cook. At 9 o’clock, students almost arrived in GCA, because everyone was interesting in cooking western food. I was learning how to make cookies with some girls following our “little tutor”. Our tutor was called Pauline, she is a French exchange students and very lovely.
Firstly, we got all the materials together from supermarket, and then we started to make the cookies ---- Chocolate Cookies. We need some butter, some white sugar, some brown sugar, an egg, some flour, yeast and chocolate. Secondly, we heat up the butter from solid to liquid. Then, put the same mass of white sugar and brown sugar into the butter liquid. After that, use stirring rod to stir them into solution. Then put an egg and some flower into the solution, and mix them together into paste. Afterwards put a little yeast and the chocolate pellet into the paste and mix them. The above was preparing the cookies, and it seemed already finished. Thereupon, divided them into small pieces and then put them into roaster, and spend 15-20 minutes the cookies would be finished. After the cooking lesson, we got home and made by ourselves. About one and half an hour, we finish the cooking cookies and the cookies were accomplished even we made our clothes very dirty.
From this cooking lesson, I was interested in making the dessert by my self. I think I will continue to learn how to cook the dessert. I was really enjoying the cooking lesson.
