School Club

I join in two clubs this term when the new semester begins. They are dancing club and TV Series club. At the beginning, I was not very virtually unfamiliar with them. I was totally known about club before. It was mysterious and alluring to me. I am just very interested in them and join them. Nevertheless I am attracted with them gradually, and I began to learn something and gain the insights during and after the process of my experience.

In the TV Series club, Grace in 10-C and Candy in 10-E both are club leaders, and Ms. Hadley is our teacher. In this club, we can watch not only TV Series, but also Movies once a week. We always have a good time here because we can watch many kinds of TV Series and interesting movies, comedy, tragedy, funny, science fiction and so on. That’s a relaxed way to improve our English language, because when we watch the English movie, not only practice our listening, but also let us access the English language and absorb it rapidly. I learn a lot from this club because it can expand my mind, full of my knowledge, improve the level of education, also it can bring happiness to me. Every club member talks each other about the plot of the movie. Therefore, we have the same topic of conversation and have many like-minded friends in our life.

In the mean time, I join in the Dancing Club, and the club leader is Only in 11-C. There are many kind of dance. We can choose any one we want. The most different thing is our teachers also are students from grade 11 or 12, and they are very kind and friendly. On the first day, because I’m a green hand, I am very unconfident. However, no one laugh at me, and my “little teacher” teaches me patiently and encourages me when I am in a state of deep depression.Every Saturday, we practice 2 hours together and do some basic training by ourselves at home. Everything comes to my wait, because I gain a little achievement and my “little teacher” is satisfied with my progress. Furthermore, I gain the insight which is little strokes fell great oaks. My motto is I keep reminding myself that I am omnipotent. I believed that if I exert efforts and never give up, everything will be done.

Compare to these two clubs, I found join in the Designing club is more free, only in the important festivals we should rush the works, otherwise we can balance the time and design whatever we want. I remember we made the Christmas tree and designed the clothes for Fashion Show and achieve success. By the way, our designing leaders is Grade 11 Joy, she like the dear sister and organize us very well.

As a club member, I found some weaknesses and strengths. In TV Series Club, there are many people like to come, but the fixed time is too late and many of us should go home early. In Dancing Club, all of the club members love dancing very much. However, we should balance between study and club activity. I believed that I developed myself by the club activities. Also I hope I can learn more knowledge and skills from club afterwards and I love TV Series Club and Dancing Club. The diversity of consequent school clubs will be useful to our life in future.
